1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Melani Çocuk Giyim San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“Melani”, “the Company”) processes your personal data when you visit the website at melanitekstil.com.

It is based on Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and its secondary legislation.

Detailed information about a specific processing activity is provided in our KVKK Privacy Notice. This policy complements that notice rather than replacing it.

2. Personal Data We Process

We do not ask for your name, email or phone if you only browse the site. The following data may be processed:

• Full name — as entered in the contact form
• Company name — so that we can route your wholesale or export enquiry
• Email address and phone — so that we can reply to your enquiry
• Enquiry type, estimated quantity, subject and message content — the text you send us
• IP address and submission time — to prevent abuse and automated submissions
• Analytics (cookieless): page path, referring address, browser language, device type and approximate location at country/city level — via Google Analytics, to measure aggregate site use. Unless you accept, no identifier is written to your browser and your visits are not linked to one another.
• If you accept analytics: the same data is processed together with a cookie identifier, so sessions and returning visits can be told apart.

As there is no membership, ordering or payment system, no financial data is collected.

3. Purposes of Processing

We process your personal data only for the following purposes:

• Responding to the enquiries, questions and partnership requests you send via the contact form
• Conducting wholesale and partnership processes and preparing quotations
• Keeping the website technically operational and secure
• Measuring which pages are visited at an aggregate level so we can improve the site, and measuring it per session if you accept analytics
• Fulfilling our obligations arising from applicable legislation

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making.

4. Sharing and Transfer of Data

We never sell or rent your personal data, nor share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

Your data may be transferred to the following parties only to the extent necessary to provide the service, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK:

• Our hosting provider in Türkiye, where the website is hosted
• The email infrastructure provider we use when replying to you
• Google LLC (Google Analytics; servers may be in the United States) — only cookieless, anonymous measurement data unless you accept analytics, in which case a cookie identifier is transferred as well
• Public authorities legally empowered to request it

5. Cookies

Our site uses a strictly necessary session cookie. Google Analytics cookies are written only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner; if you do not, the measurement tag runs without writing any cookie and without identifying you. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.

6. Data Security

In line with Article 12 of the KVKK, we take appropriate administrative and technical measures to protect your personal data against unlawful access, loss and alteration:

• Encrypted connections over HTTPS across the site
• Authorised access to the admin panel, with passwords stored irreversibly hashed
• A failed login attempt limit on the admin panel
• Automated submission (bot) and rate limiting protection on the contact form
• Access restricted to people who need the data to do their job

7. Retention and Erasure

We do not keep your personal data longer than the processing purpose requires or than the limitation periods set out in applicable legislation.

Contact form records are kept for a maximum of 2 years after your enquiry is resolved, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

Once no legal ground for retention remains, your data is destroyed in the first periodic erasure cycle.
